ALBUM REVIEW, ART SHOWS, NEW VIDEO + MORE NEWS
Whats new in the Tasty Soil world?! Things have been happening, but I've been slacking on updating the news on the website here.
I have had artwork in two group shows, one on October 2nd in NEW YORK CITY at Secret Project Robot. It's a group show with all michigan artists called "Great Lakes, Great times!" -- other artists in the show include Nate Young, Heath Moerland, Alivia Zivich and lots more! Another art show opened in L.A. CALIFORNIA on Oct. 8th Called "Prismatic Nomads"at Showcave gallery. Other artists showing at this show: Jonnie Prey, Jesus Rivera and Jerry White.
Upcoming group art show in Hamburg Germnay at Feinkunst Krüger Gallery called "Don't Wake Daddy V". It'll be opening in December & will be the 3rd time i've been invited to take part in this annual art show. Prior years have had local TV news coverage due to it being one of the biggest international weird-o art shows in the area.
In other news, the Detroit METRO TIMES wrote a story about local artists that have more interest in Europe then locally in Detroit. They featured many musicians and artists including my project COTTON MUSEUM. Read it HERE!

Lastly, I thought i'd share a video experiment I did while drawing this Infected Slime Beast! I scanned it 82 times during the creation of it, from pencil to ink. I pieced them all together to create this short animation of the "Evolution" of it. Click below to watch it:

THE WIRE MAGAZINE DETROIT FEATURE...
In a recent issue of the wire there was a focus on detroit--a feature on SICK LLAMA & UFO FACTORY which also mentions COTTON MUSEUM, SLITHER and has a photo from a FOREST PEOPLE show (a new project from Chris Pottinger, Warn Defever and Hitoko Sakai) at the UFO FACTORY.
